Waste management in aging society - Research on supporting methods of neighborhood association function –
In the waste management, the neighborhood association plays an important role. (Management of waste collection place, collective collection, and decision making / communication related to municipal waste disposal plan, etc.) However, due to the declining birthrate and aging population, the function of the neighborhood association is expected to decline and can adversely affect waste management. For the sustainable waste management in aging society, studies on supporting mechanism for neighborhood associations are in progress, with a focus on secondary effect in terms of welfare and community development.
