Notes

Nothocriconema sphagni is redescribed from Canadian populations, extending the distributional range and giving characters for the male. The juvenile male has a shorter prorhabdion than is previously known and the adult has shorter spicules (31-35 µm vs. 40-42 µm) and is characterized by a mucronated, rather than attenuated, terminus of two to three annules.
