Notes

Morphology and infraciliature of the swarmer of Discophrya collini have been investigated by light microscopy. Silver-impregnation shows that the infraciliature is formed by 16 kineties which form three groups denominated A, B and C. Group A is constituted of five kineties (A1, A2, A3 A4 and A5). Group B shows four kineties (B1, B2, B3 and B4) and group C has seven kineties (C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6 and C7).
