This paper describes the morphology, altitude, agronomic conditions, and geology of the area. Nine stations in the Snake River Plain and two in the Great Basin Region were sampled. Fifty-three different rotifer species of twenty-nine genera were found. Reasons for the luxuriant fauna of Soda Springs Reservior are discussed.
