Twenty-eight species and varieties representing 13 genera of Rotatoria new to Lousiana are reported. Eight are in Brachionus and six in Lecane. Frequency of occurrence, collection date, time of day, pH, water temperature, methyl orange alkalinity, and pond location are given.
