Twenty one species of Testacea were found in forest humus in << Monkey valley >> (Shiga, Japan); three of which are described for the first time: Heleoporella caustica sp. nov., Euglypha hyalina sp. nov. and Euglypha capsiosa sp. nov. The existence of Distomatopyxis couillardi is also noted.
