Notes
The "Murnauer Moos" consists of different parts. Each part had a different development, which is caused by geological and hydrological conditions. The fauna of Rhizopoda was investigated in the 6 main parts of the bog, which have different ecological characters. Only in the central part and the "Large Filz" living Sphagnum associations are present, which contain the typical fauna of Rhizopoda. The total number of species collected in all biotops was 90. The results are given in 4 tables. 24 pictures made with the scanning microscope, show some interesting details of the different shells.
