Descriptions

This worm is spotted externally, but is not papillate in sectioned material. There are up to 13-18 hair and bifid setae dorsally but there are only 3-4 bifid ventrals. There are penial setae arranged in fanlike formation in X (rather than the usual XI). The spermathecae are in IX and are bipartite, sperm are loose in the spermathecae. The atria are said to be in the 11th segment (in my translation) but this is clearly an error for 10th, the unusual forward shift in reproductive structures being consistent according to the rest of the description. There are no prostates. There are large coelomocytes. (ref. ID; 7201)
