Descriptions

Body after fixation mostly slightly dorsally curved, rarely ventrally, tapering towards both ends but more so posteriorly. Cuticle smooth, 2.5 µm thick at lip region. Lip region almost continuous with rest of the body, constriction barely detectable. Amphid aperture stirrup-shaped, slightly less than half the corresponding body width. Odontostyle 1.5 lip region widths long, its orifice occupying 13.5-24.6%, while its width is around 14% of its entire length. Odontphore 25-28 µm long. Pharynx widening posterior to middle. Nerve ring surrounds pharynx around anterior one-third of pharynx. Cardia conoid, 0.4-0.6 corresponding body widths wide, 1.8 times longer than wide. Intestinal microvilli well developed. Prerectum 2.2, rectum 1.7 times anal body width long. Tail elongate conoid, with a concave ventral side and tapering tip, 3.5 rectal lengths long. Two obscure caudal pores observed at each side, one dorsal closely behind the anus, one lateral further back. Female reproductive system didelphic, amphidelphic with reflexed ovaries. Vagina less than one half corresponding body width long, with pars refringens. Vulva a deep transverse oval, nearly equatorial in position. (ref. ID; 1311)
