Diagnosis (emended)

Female body 0.31-0.58 mm. Annules 70-88 with 8-28 rows of scales at midbody, each scale with a thick basal portion and thin elongated drawn out posterior region forming spines. Fringe of fine spines may be present between rows. One head annule, set off, lip region round. Stylet 63-94 um. Vulval lips conical withdrawn from scale contour. Tail 8-15 annules, conical pointed, VL/VB 1-1.2. (ref. ID; 5848)
  • Juveniles: Cuticle with 10 longitudinal rows of scales, each scale with a flat pentagonal base and rounded posterior portion with three to five fine serrations. (ref. ID; 5848)
  • Males: Lateral incisures three, bursa well developed, spicules 44-48 um. (ref. ID; 5848)
