Origin	Unknown.
Date	The first record in Japan was in 1980 at Nasu, Tochigi Pref.
Route	Accidental: Hitchhiking on imported hay. Spreading from farm to farm by hitchhiking on tractors.
Impact	Competition. Allelopathy. Host for insects, fungi, and nematodes. Native organism(s) affected: Native and crop plants, including corn and rice
Regulation in Japan	No action for prevention, mitigation, control, or eradication.
Introduced range in other countries	Temperate to tropical region in Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania, North and Latin America.
