Take the Tsukuba Express Bus bound for Tsukuba Center at the Yaesu South Exit of Tokyo Station. The bus leaves every 20 or 30 minutes. It takes about an hour and 15 minutes to Tsukuba Center Terminal. Pick up a taxi at Tsukuba Center. It takes about 15 minutes to the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES).
